Change Step is a veteran support program in Wales that aims to help veterans and their families tackle serious stress and mental health-related challenges. It provides a range of services such as counseling, peer mentoring, and access to relevant community resources.
The program is delivered by veterans and professionals who understand the unique needs of those who have served in the armed forces. “Change Step” also collaborates with partners in the veterans services and support sector in Wales to ensure a seamless service delivery and promote innovation. Since its inception in 2014, the program has helped over 3,000 veterans and their families.
